Marbling is unlike any other form of print making – more akin to abstract painting, it’s a collaboration between the water and the marbler – the more you try to control it, the less it does what you want! It is exciting, cathartic and always addictive.
If you’d like to learn paper marbling, come along to a workshop at our South London studio where Marmor Paperie founder Lucy McGrath will show you how to set up your marbling bath and prepare paper, teach you some tips and tricks to get successful patterns and, most importantly of all, make sure you have fun making lots of your own papers.
Workshops are currently scheduled for the dates below; please click on the date to find out more and book a place:
You may have seen our planet-like marbled ceramic baubles featured in magazines such as Stylist, Red and House & Garden. Ceramic is a really fun and satisfying material to marble, so we decided to offer a special festive marbling workshop where you can learn how to make them yourself! Perfect for those last-minute Christmas gifts too!
Our bauble marbling workshops will be held in boutique pop-up Creoate in Covent Garden – click on your preferred date to find out more and book a place!
If you can’t attend any of these dates but would like to be notified when new workshops are announced, please join our mailing list below and you will be the first to know.
