Honour the memorable people and moments of your life within a photo album that is just as special and unique as them. Our album features original hand-marbled paper on the front and back covers - each one has its own character and no two will ever be the same.

Available in two sizes, you can also choose between three different marbled patterns in this popular colourway, which features shades of deep ultramarine, oxblood red and accents of glittering gold.

Personalise the cover of the photo album with an engraving in metallic foil for that extra personal touch - perhaps with a name or a location that holds special memories.

Each album contains 30 sturdy card pages, separated with a leaf of translucent glassine to protect your photos and mementos from scratches.

All our albums are constructed by hand in London. Our master marbler, Lucy McGrath, makes each paper by floating droplets of paint on a tray of water and carefully manipulates them to make patterns. A piece of paper is laid onto the paint, picking it up, and a new layer of paint must be applied before another print can be made. This means each marbled paper is slightly different so every album made with one is a completely unique piece.

We use durable bookcloth on the curved spine to give the binding strength and acrylic paints when marbling which have fantastic durability and add a brilliant vibrance that just can't be achieved through digital printing. But because we don't use mass-manufacturing processes like coatings, it is advisable to keep the album away from water to prevent warping.

traditional glassine interleaving

Protect your photos and mementoes with semi-transparent glassine inserts seperating the pages. These prevent your photos from getting scratched and add a certain elegant theatricality to revealing the opposing page.

Designed to last

We use hard-wearing rayon bookcloth on the spine of our albums - this reinforces the vulnerable hinge whilst providing a pleasant soft feel.

The album pages are made with acid-free card so will not yellow or degrade with time - providing an archival surface so your memories will stand the test of time.

Every item is unique

All our products are made using original marbled papers, individually made by hand in our studio in London. Marbling is a process combining print-making, science and art, made by floating paint in a tray of thickened water and transferring it onto paper.

This means no two books are the same - so yours may not perfectly match the photos but it will be just as beautiful.

We use hot-foil stamping to add your choice of words onto the cover of your item. Use the live preview feature to help select the positioning and foil colour for your personalisation.
