Marbled Journal - Stone in Reds

This lined A5 notebook is covered with striking original marbled paper featuring rich shades of red and pink with accents of gold and deep blue. The accent colours were added first and swirled across the surface of the marbling water, after which the paint was pushed aside with drops of dispersant to show through the natural vibrant red of thebase paper, and finished with flecks of delicate pinnk. This pattern is a particular favourite with us as it captures the natural fluidity of the marbling water and retains an organic feeling, a bit like natural stone.

This original marbled paper was created by Marmor Paperie's founder, Lucy, in our London studio. This is a special one-of-a-kind notebook as we only made a single paper in this design so, whilst every piece of paper is slightly different, this notebook is extra unique!

Marmor Paperie's maker mark is debossed in the back in gold foil.
