Large Sheet - French Curl in Green

A sheet of marbled paper made by hand in our London Studio.

Featuring glittering gold, black and sage on a forest-green base paper, the paint was finely combed and lines of curls carefully drawn across the floating paint to create the classic French pattern 'French Curl' before the final print was taken and captured on the paper.

Marbled paper is very versatile; historically used in bookbinding and box-making, it can also be used in crafts projects such as collage, decoupage, paper weaving and greetings cards. You can use it for origami projects or make larger items such as lampshades, drawer liners or even wall art. 

It makes striking gift wrap (use strong tape!) or can be cut into smaller peices to make gift tags or paper chains.
