We’ve planned a packed schedule of events for June, kicking off with West Dean Arts & Craft Festival near Chichester. Read on to see where else we’ll be and what to expect!
Fri 2 – Sun 4 June | Tickets: Adults £12, free entry for children
West Dean College is an incredibly beautiful estate near Chichester formerly owned by the poet Edward James, who established a foundation dedicated to furthering traditional artisan skills, bequeathing his estate to become what is now a highly reputable college specialising in restoration and traditional crafts.
The Arts & Crafts Festival is an annual event, held in collaboration with MADE, featuring of artists and craftspeople. We’ll be there with a wall of books so visitors can design their perfect marbled journal.
Holborn: Fri 9 – Sun 11 June | Free entry
Deptford: Fri 16 – Sun 18 June | Free entry
After Marmor Paperie’s first ever Open Studios last Christmas, we’re opening our doors again, this time at both the Holborn and Deptford Cockpit Arts centres. Watch out for a live marbling demonstration by Marmor Paperie’s Lucy McGrath at 2pm on Saturday in Deptford!
Fri 30 June – Sun 2 July | Entry £5-£8
We’ll be exhibiting for the first time at Childwickbury Arts Fair, near St. Albans. Expect to see lots of artists working on pieces, as well as live music, great food and a buzzing atmosphere.
Do come pay us a visit if you’re near any of these events – we love chatting about marbling and getting a chance to connect with people about our craft!
