This 2022 weekly diary features a nuanced, textural marbled paper, full of a quiet magic. This twice-marbled design uses special iridescent paints that shift in colour from a subtle cream to an electric blue (for the first layer) and glittering bronze (the second layer).
The inspiration for this double-marbled paper came from a fantastic project where we rebound five copies of author Susanna Clarke's new (incredible) novel, Piranesi. We made a series of marbled samples to show the publisher, and this was one of the options. We loved this variation on the Piranesi design so much and wanted to do more with it!
Each diary is covered with an original marbled paper, created by Marmor Paperie's owner Lucy in our London studio. This is a special release, with only 15 copies available.
